GDC hands-on: Deadliest Warrior XBLA

Most of the preparation for my GDC appointment to check out Pipework Foundation's TV-to-game adaptation Deadliest Warrior was spent thinking up jokes about the game's cast of anachronistic characters. "So, what are we looking at," I would snidely remark, "Templars? Cavemen? Wizards? Robots? Robot Cavemen? Grizzly bears?" To which Pipework would politely laugh, as I would insist, "No, seriously.

Rumor: Why Call of Duty Developers Are Sticking Around Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
(via Game Radar) - With studio heads at Infinity Ward, the developer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its sequel, no longer employed, you'd think all those remaining at the company would be leaving in mass exodus. They're not, apparently, and here's why. Sources tell Kotaku that Modern Warfare publisher Activision is delaying paying Infinity Ward employees their royalties.

Alan Wake ESRB rating detailed Alan Wake
(via Game Radar) - Alan Wake was said to be rated 'Teen' by IGN last month, but why it got that rating wasn't known. Today, the ESRB revealed the detailed summary of the game and the contents of the game. None of the content is extreme and the only reason the game seems to have a 'Teen' rating is because of some extreme language and the appearance of cigarettes.

Sam & Max PSN pre-orders start March 18 other console versions a 'definite possibility'
(via Joystiq) - Sam and Max will bring their off-kilter humor to PlayStation 3 for the first time in The Devil's Playhouse: The Penal Zone, the first episode in a new season of Telltale's episodic adventure series. In a first for the PlayStation Store, the full season -- consisting of five monthly episodes -- will become available for pre-order on March 18, nearly a month before The Penal Zone launches on April 15.

NPD: BioShock 2 Feb. PS3 sales just shy of 200k mark

Article: BioShock 2's DLC on disc already?
(via EuroGamer) - Minute file sizes suggest so. BioShock 2's first batch of DLC, the Sinclair Solutions pack, may have been on the game disc all along. Users on the 2K forum (spotted by VG247) recorded the download size as a teensy 24K on PC and 108K on Xbox 360.
